Traditional Thai Massage
The traditional Thai massage is different from Western massages as it mainly focuses on circulation and pressure points, which help promote internal health and heal many symptoms caused from cramped muscles.
The practitioner will use his or her whole body from hands, knees, legs to feet to stretch the muscles and release pressure from the body. The recipient will need to be fully dressed wearing comfortable, loose clothing as no oil or any massage products are used during the session.
Thai Oil Massage
The Thai oil massage involves deep, firm pressure and rolling and stretching movements using palms, thumbs, elbows and knees and the application of aromatic oils.
An invigorating, rhythmic massage, it follows the style of traditional Thai massage.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is a fantastically rejuvenating massage technique typically used to alleviate aches and pains from exercise or musculoskeletal issues.
Deep tissue massage benefits are wide ranging but include bringing relief from sports injuries, a sense of wellbeing and relaxation, increased circulations and reduced inflammation.
Hot Stones Massage
Hot stone massage therapy combines relaxing warmth and refreshing coolness to encourage the body to detox and heal.
This also increases lymph flow and helps to flush out waste. Heat relaxes your body in a short space of time, so your massage therapist can focus on a deep working of the tissues using both hot stones and hand strokes.
Hot stones also increase your sense of relaxation and calm. They are coated in fragrant oil which is smoothed gently onto your body, and each stone in turn is worked by your therapist’s hands. The heated stones are placed on the chakra points to align and balance the energy centres, benefiting the whole body and mind.
Swedish Massage
Swedish massage involves long, kneading strokes combined with rhythmic tapping strokes and movement of the joints.
This type of massage targets the uppermost layer of muscles and aims to relieve muscle tension.
Head Neck and Shoulder Massage
This massage will relieve tension and stress that builds up around the neck and shoulder area and leads to overall discomfort, head, neck and shoulder massages stimulate the nervous system, increasing blood flow to the head and easing stress through the release of endorphins, which, in turn, help in relieving pain.
Reflexology Massage
Reflexology is a type of massage that involves applying different amounts of pressure to the feet and hands. It’s based on a theory that these body parts are connected to certain organs and body systems.
